The Leading Edge
2003 was quite the year for Lisa and Rhonda Martin
of Sears Hearing Centres. The original plan was to
open 5 new stores in Ontario, all within a matter
of Months!
The sisters ended up opening six stores by the end of
October. The first location was Promenade Mall in
Thornhill, followed by Devonshire Shopping Centre in
Windsor, Masonville Place in London, Limeridge Mall
in Hamilton and the Pen Centre in St. Catharine's.
Just as their sixth store was to open, Lisa Martin
had to take time out for an arrival of her own. Lisa
delivered Taylor Elisabeth on September 9th, 2003.
She enjoyed the down time with her husband and their other
two children, but was soon back to work for the opening of
the Sears Hearing Centre at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in North York.
What an accomplishment for Lisa and the Sears Hearing Team!
During all the new store openings, Lisa and Rhonda still
managed to keep a close eye on their original location, Sears
Hearing Centre – Sherway Gardens. Their customers never
felt the pinch, in fact they're as happy as ever! Lisa thinks
its due to the extraordinary service by Michelle King, April
Atherton and Michael Michalski, seen below. Lisa and Rhonda wish
to thank all their customers who helped make this past year
possible and look forward to seeing you in the new year!
